SUN WATT
F-TYPE MODULE DESCRIPTION

F-3A (.7 watt) .16A at 4.5V. This tiny (3"x4") module can be mounted on a hat or easily carried to power a 3V "Walkman" type radio/tape player. It is powerful enough to play the radio while recharging the battery. $26

F-6 (1.5 watts) .2A at 7V to charge small 6V batteries. (5"x6") Ideal for gel-cell or ni-cad batteries up to 10 amp-hour capacity. This unit will also run 6 volt portable radios directly, no battery needed. $52

F-6A, (5 watts) .6A at 8V to charge 6 volt battery systems. (8"x10")This is an ideal size to charge gel-cell batteries up to 30 amp-hour capacity and can be used to trickle charge a 6V golf cart battery and power electric fences. The unit will also run tape players and the new electronic typewriters as well as Macontosh Powerbook computers. $95

F-6J, (5 watts) .6A at 8V (8"x10") This charger is the F-6A with a set of battery holders added to the back. In addition to running all the F-6A applications, this unit will charge 4 D or 4 C cells or either 4 or 8 AA cells. A set of internal blocking diodes keeps the charging functions seperate from the output power cord. $135

F-6B, (10 watts) 1.2A at 8V to charge automotive and golf cart size lead acid batteries. (12"x14") An intermediate power 6V charger. $145

F-9, (2.5 watts) .3A at 12V to operate small radios and to charge small 9V batteries. This compact (8"x8") module is the least expensive solar battery charger that can run a radio while charging 9V batteries. $59

F-9A (7 watts) .6A at 12V (10"x10"). This module is a more powerful version of the F-9 for quicker recharging or use in more cloudy areas of the world. It will also run laptop computers like some Toshibas. $139

SOLAR POWER F-12A (5 watts) .3A at 16V to charge 12V batteries (8"x10"). This module will operate and charge many 9 to 12V devices. It is intended for the charging of 5 to 20 amp-hour gel-cell or ni-cad batteries and is too small to successfully charge an automobile battery (although some people use an F-12A to keep their vehicle battery up). $99

F-12B (10 watts) .6A at 16V to charge larger 12V battery systems. (10"x14") This is the smallest charger that will reliably recharge a 12V auto battery. It can be used in many of the same applications as the F-12A with the added advantage of extra power capacity for faster re-charging or use under hazy sun conditions. Very popular overseas. $149

F-12J (10 watts) .6A at 16V (10"x14") This charger is the F-12B with a set of battery holders added to the back. In addition to running all the F-12B applications, this unit will charge either 4 or 8 D cells, 4 or 8 C cells or 4 or 8 AA cells. A set of internal blocking diodes keeps the charging functions seperate from the output power cord. $179

SUNWATT L-TYPE SOLAR ELECTRIC MODULES FOR LAPTOP COMPUTERS

SunWatt Corporation is introducing a new series of photovoltaic modules to power laptop computers directly from the sun. These modules, designed specifically to recharge and power laptops, come in five models, depending on the voltage requirement of a specific computer, and can be ordered with the proper plug for a particular model of laptop. The first four L-Type SunWatt modules have the same output current, (rated at 600mA) which is determined by the sunlight intensity but should be sufficient on a sunny day to both power the typical laptop and recharge its battery, the L-24 has an output current of 350mA at its higher rated voltage. A "Y" cord can be ordered to power a computer and its attached portable printer in some cases. The five SunWatt L-Type modules come in the following voltage ranges:

L-8 For Laptops of up to 8 volt power requirement. Macintosh Powerbook and other lower voltage computers. Size: 8"x10" 5 watts, Retail Price: $139 with plug.

L-11 For 8 to 11 volt requirement such as BondWell 200, Toshiba 1000, Some Radio Shack Tandy models. Can be equipped with a dual plug to run a computer and a small Hewlett Packard Inkjet printer. Size: 10"x10" 7 watts. Retail Price: $164 with plug.

L-15 For 11 to 15 volt requirement laptops, This model will also recharge 12 volt deep-cycle and automotive batteries. Size: 10"x13" 10 watts. Retail Price: $189 with plug.

L-18 For 14 to 18 volt requirement such as Toshiba T-1910. Size: 10"x15" 12 watts Retail Price: $199 with plug.

L-24 For 18 to 24 volt requirements such as some Macintosh. Size: 10"x13" 10 watts Retail Price: $199 with plug.

"Y" cord and extra plug for any L-Type module: $8.00 extra or more depending on the complexity of the configuration.

To order: find the voltage requirements of your laptop by looking at the ac adapter plug furnished with your computer and pick the L-Type module at or above that voltage, Then find the plug shape and let us know which part of the plug is + and -. We are building a database of common laptop configurations and can help you select the proper model and plug configutration. Give us a call if you need help or have any questions.
