EASY AND ECONOMICAL
Some of the most toxic chemicals, which we are exposed to in our homes andour work place, are cleaning products. Fortunately, more environmentally safe cleaning products are now available to make our cleaning jobs not onlysafer, but easier as well. Many old tried and true cleaning products suchas baking soda, vinegar, salt, as well as lemon juice also work well,however they are not as convenient to use as ready-made products. An even better solution to safe cleaning, especially if you have allergies, is using Microfiber.
Microfiber is a strong man-made fiber that is constructed from apolyester/cotton or polyester/nylon fabric that can be used dry or wet (only water is necessary). Micro fiber is made of soft woven microfibers that are split many times to create a surface area with millions of tiny hooks and channels that actually trap and remove dust and dirt from surfaces. Thisallows cleaning without spreading dirt and grease to other areas – which often happens when other types of cloth or mops are used. Static charging iswhat attracts and binds dirt and dust when microfiber is used dry. The cloth is woven tightly to prevent snagging and linting – so you have lint-freecleaning! Some studies have actually shown that microfiber also removes bacteria from surfaces.
Imagine cleaning with only water! Using water helps to emulsify dirt andoil making it easier for the microfiber cloth to pick up dust, dirt and oil.The spaces allow large amounts of moisture to collect making the cloth veryabsorbent. This also means that the cloth or mop can be used for extended periods before it is necessary to wash or rinse the cloth clean. Thes espaces also allow for quicker drying time, which helps eliminate bacterialgrowth as in other types of cloths. Keeping your car clean has always been a major chore. Microfiber also works well on automotive finishes. Simply wash with a wet microfiber cloth or mop(for those hard to reach places) and use a dry one to buff to a spotless shine. The inside can be cleaned in the same way. A periodic wipe with a dry microfiber cloth keeps the inside of your windshield grime-free and glare-free.
